The Reasoning

Dear reader,

If you’ve made it to this page you probably wonder where you have ended up and what this website is about. Well, the reason that it is not as polished or fleshed out as your regular webshop is easily explained. I am just one guy who decided he wanted to try something out in his spare time. So I combined some things I liked; drawing, animal protection and fashion.

Since I had a fulltime job (and am currently studying again) it is important for me to keep this project fun and not another obligation. Apart from handling orders or answering e-mails that means some obvious information is still missing on certain pages. Writing extensive (or even acceptable) product descriptions for example has not managed to spark my interest in a way that made me set myself to it.

The things that make me happiest and I hope turns you into a customer or enthusiast, are creating pretty things that have a thought behind them. As you know, it is never just about the outside;) Currently it is just the shirt and cap collection found under Shop & Casual, but photography and handcrafting ornaments are some other things you find here sooner or later.

Below is some more info on the organizations I currently support by donating part of the sales (and I keep score!).

Hoping to have left you more bewildered than before,

Bests,

Joeri

Whale products

A group of whales is often reffered to as a herd. Since these majestic and mostly peaceful creatures exemplify the vastness and mystery of the oceans, it was obvious to us that a whale was the best symbol for our ocean clothing line. Equally easy was the choice of Sea Shepherd as organization we donate to, because what’s in a name? Every herd needs a good shepherd to look after them. Find out more about their current campaigns and see how you could offer more support at: www.seashepherd.org

Gorilla products

Gorillas are the largest living primates and despite their incredible strength and impressive teeth, their diet consists mostly of plants. These majestic kings of African lowlands and mountains are critically endangered because of loss of their habitat, poaching and human conflicts. The 2014 Netflix documentary about Virunga National Park in Congo shows the hardships and challenges the gorillas and their protectors face. Because of the stubborness and strength the wardens of Virunga have shown, we have chosen to donate 10% of the Gorilla product sales is donated to them. Want to find out more or support them directly? Their website is: www. virunga.org
