Emperor penguins deserve their majestic name as they are the largest of all penguin species. They only live on Antarctica. Fun fact; the male Emperor penguins breed a single egg during the four winter months while the female is out in the ocean getting food. The men don’t eat during this four months, speak about fasting!

Living on an ice continent, they are one of the likely victims of global warming. I therefore chose to portray this Emperor in the iconic breeding pose, but without an egg as a symbol of their lack of future.
